Day #16-Toasters and pies and the hiker family. Miles hiked: 13.8

We finally made it to Pie Town! Honestly, town is a stretch. It’s just a highway and a small restaurant that was almost out of food by the time we arrived, but hey it’ll do!

Knowing this wasn’t going to be a bountiful resupply, we all mailed resupply boxes here as well. If anyone wants to send me one, just let me know and I’ll tell you where to send magical treasure boxes such as this one.

Otherwise it’s been a nice afternoon to hang out at the Toaster House, the local hiker hostel full of our kind. The owner even shuttled folks to acquire some adult beverages.

Resting up for another big push to Grants, NM.

Happy trails!

  1. Hey Minta! I miss you at church. Mike and I are keeping up with your journey. We'd love to send a package. It may be later in the week before we can send. You can email me the address and your favorite bites. Traveling mercies, my friend.
