Day #36 (93)-Halfway to somewhere. Miles hiked: 31.9

Today was the time to do the work of walking across the Basin. It was hot and the wind was pretty wicked, but it really just brought back memories of New Mexico.

Thank you to the local trail angel who provided the water cache we enjoyed. As expected with a desert, it’s back to 15-20 miles between water sources and sometimes more.

Weather is definitely starting to move in as some moisture streams into Wyoming but the advantage of desert storms is you can at least see them coming.
